Optical Assistant/Optical Technician - Ellis & Thompson Optometrist, Cobham
Are you a customer service superstar with a passion for eye care? Do you have experience as an optical assistant or technician, with the ability to pre-screen patients and help run a busy clinic? We're looking for a dynamic and motivated team player to join us at Ellis & Thompson Optometrists in Cobham!
As an optical assistant/technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service possible. You'll assist with patient care, helping to schedule appointments, greet patients, and provide administrative support. You'll also be responsible for pre-screening patients, using the latest technology and techniques to gather essential diagnostic information to support our optometrists.
In addition to your optical assistant duties, you'll also help to run our busy clinic, ensuring that all equipment is properly sterilised and prepared for use, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and assisting with the day-to-day administration.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in optical assistant roles and pre-screening, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service. However, full training will be provided so experience is not essential. You'll also be a team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
